Description

Silicon Red Brass, in compliance with ELV and ROHS regulations, is a lead-free brass alloy specially engineered to withstand high loads while demonstrating remarkable corrosion resistance and excellent machinability. This versatile alloy is well-suited for manufacturing machined and drop-forged components. It’s available both as machinable brass and in hot stamping quality. This material is also known as CUPHIN, particularly for applications in the sanitary field. It meets the stringent dezincification resistance requirements outlined in ISO 6509 and is approved for use in products that come into contact with drinking water, as per the 4 MS positive list.
